Join us for an inspiring and creative journey at our Poetry Writing Workshop, specially designed for youth aged 8-14! Facilitated by Vallejo’s Co-Poets Laureate Kathleen Herrmann and Jacalyn Eyvonne, this workshop offers a unique opportunity for young poets to explore the beauty and wonder of the environment and the world around us.
Workshop Highlights:
Theme Exploration: Discover the positives about our environment, from animals and flowers to trees, oceans, and beyond.
Creative Writing: Engage in poetry writing sessions that nurture creativity and expression.
Interactive Activities: Participate in fun poetry puzzling activities that enhance literary skills.
Anthology Contribution: Create a poem that could be featured in the upcoming *Youth Poetry Letters Anthology, a special project spearheaded by our Co-Poets Laureate.
This enriching workshop is free, but spaces are limited, and advance registration is required. Don’t miss this chance for young poets and writers to develop their talents, share their voices, and contribute to a meaningful community project.
We look forward to welcoming your young poets to an unforgettable creative experience!
