The exhibit uncovers the mostly unknown story of women and tattoos before World War II, while highlighting how far women and tattooing have come.

Exhibit themes include: Native Ink, Wealthy Women and the Tattoo Craze, Tattooed Ladies of the Circus, Female Tattoo Artists, The Mechanics of Tattooing, and Tattooing After WWII.
