he North Bay Rose Society will present a Mini Rose Show and interactive lecture by American Rose Society Expert Lou Evans on August 13, 2023 at the Florence Douglas Center, 333 Amador Street, Vallejo. The free event will be held from 2 to 4 pm.
Mr. Evans will teach easy to understand strategies to successfully photograph America’s flower, The Rose. No experience or special equipment is necessary to capture captivating images.
The public is encouraged to arrive early and bring a rose or an 8×10 inch self-taken rose printed photo to enter in the rose show. Friendly North Bay Rose Society members will help prepare each entry and place in a vase to be judged by the end of the workshop. This is a fun free way to learn about exhibiting roses and the vast varieties there are to enjoy.
An exciting raffle will include garden and rose related gifts. Raffle tickets are $ 1.00 each. The proceeds help offset the space rental.
