Goodie Goudeau and Jeanette McCree-Goudeau were central figures in the arts here in Vallejo. They produced work, brought connections and inspiration. We are dedicating and placing a QR Code placard to the building in honor of Goodie & Jeanette along with the release of a short film by TJ Walkup.
Goodie and Jeanette contributed to our community in ways we still are benefiting from. This very special couple facilitated events, taught cartooning classes to children and historically contributed nation-wide to “Positive Black Images” through Goodies greeting cards.
This Artist Convergence and Dedication Ceremony is happening Sunday, Feb. 26, 2-4:35 p.m. at 930 Marin Street at Ethninc Notions, former home of the McCree-Goudeau Gallery
