City Sugar is a dark comedy in 2 acts about a disenchanted radio DJ, Leonard Brazil, who is King at the local Leicester Sound 103 FM. His interactions with the employees at the station and the teens who listen to him on the radio unravel into the Contest of the Century!, in which he himself, disillusioned, with the hype of mass media, the sugar coated pap he has to play over and over, and the commercialism of it all, has his own meltdown as he dreams of one day working at Capitol Music in London.
