“Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” Postponed

Dear Patrons & Friends,

It seems there are more lives to the Bay Area Stage Production of Tennessee William’s “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” then the tenacious theatre company had planned on. The long-awaited production must yet again postpone opening night. Slated to open tomorrow night, Friday June 10th, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” must postpone their production until one of our leading actors, who has fallen ill with Covid, will be well enough to perform.

We will also need to determine new workable dates for our actors and production team members. These kinds of unfortunate circumstances affecting theatre companies and events are country-wide. It is devastating to those who have worked so long and hard, and who have anticipated all the excitement of an opening night and performance.

Keeping the BAS theatre doors open has been a long struggle, but Bay Area Stage Productions will be refunding all ticket purchases and hope when new dates are announced, patrons will buy again.

Bay Area Stage Productions wishes to extend its sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this newest postponement will cause.

Very best regards,

Jeff Lowe & Stacey Loew
