What’s For Dinner:  Cooking Series and Book Group at the JFK Library

“What’s For Dinner?” is a new seasonal series of cooking workshops and conscious eating book group meetings at the John F. Kennedy Library in Vallejo.  The first cooking workshop, Fresh Out of the Garden, is on Saturday May 6 at 2 p.m.  You will learn how to make spring rolls using fresh vegetables from the springtime garden.  Learn how this healthy and nutritious recipe can be a go-to afternoon snack, light lunch, elegant appetizer, or a protein packed anytime meal.

The first Book Group of this series will be Wednesday June 14 at 6:30 p.m.  Join us to discuss “Food Rules” by Michael Pollan.  Place a copy on hold at solanolibrary.com.

Presented by The Solano County Library in partnership with Sustainable Solano and UR what U eat.  The series is sponsored by the Friends of the Vallejo Public Libraries.
