Why Jazz Remedy?
The full range of music that some call “jazz” is rarely heard by anyone who isn’t already an aficionado. That’s where the “remedy” comes in. Jazz exists in more flavors and colors than the average listener is aware of.
Avant garde jazz / creative music is an awakening to the range of sounds, textures, and emotions that disciplined, improvised music can create.

These concerts are also a “remedy” for the worries of daily life, and a reminder of the spiritual bond of the human community.

Our desire is to present high caliber creative music, workshops and collaborations, that enrich, educate and empower others to express art at the highest level, and to provide an opportunity for folks to gather together, be uplifted and celebrate the beauty of life and the artistic soul in each of us.

The new Ethnic Heritage Ensemble concert is just the beginning & is but one example of the discoveries that await those who support the efforts of Jazz Remedy. Help us enrich East & North Bay culture by contributing to fund this and future productions. Like us on Facebook, and find us on Indiegogo.
