The show, which was originally part of last year’s Visions of the Wild expose at the museum, is a series of poster boards highlighting history in Vallejo. Panel topics include Ohlone shell mounds, outlined projects that were planned but never reached fruition, mercury mining, and housing segregation.
To highlight Vallejo’s geographical and industrial past, “Re-Shaping Vallejo,” was transported from the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum to City Hall, where the installation will be on display on the first floor of City Hall until at least the end of June 2018.
Re-Shaping Vallejo can be found on the first floor of City Hall, which is located at 555 Santa Clara Street. City Hall is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
