Kids search for golf balls on the Mare Island Preserve. And then exchange them for Easter eggs.
After the big hunt, families can take advantage of the Preserve’s self-guided roadway trail that has fourteen interpretive stops along the route. It’s a three mile roundtrip to the top of Mare Island Hill and back, perfect for walking, jogging or cycling. There’s also a picnic area. Bring your camera to capture some views of the Bay not available elsewhere.
