The Wednesday Night Live Blues Extravaganza featuring Kevin Russell, Ryder Green and Ro Harpo is going to be an incredible night of blues music. Kevin Russell was born and raised in the Motor City and has a very unique blend blues, rock and soul. Kevin says: “It’s a Motor City thing!” Kevin is a very soulful guitar player as well as singer/songwriter and record producer. Kevin’s 707 smash rock hit “I Could Be Good For You” is featured in the block buster film “Grown Ups” starring Adam Sandler.

Ryder Green – Early in life, Ryder Green began captivating audiences with his virtuoso guitar work, delivering passionately uplifting blues drawn from many influences. Now an accomplished singer/songwriter as well, his distinctive tone and infectious original songs and vocals ignite crowds of all ages. From sublime vintage blues to blistering hard blues and gritty shuffles, Green and his band bring their riveting energy on full throttle. Ryder Green fronts the band on lead guitar and vocals. Derek Fresquez on rhythm guitar and vocals, Steve Romine on bass, and Jeffray Davis on drums. Together, these dedicated musicians bring an unstoppable aliveness to blues music. They won the Golden Gate Blues Society’s 2017 International Blues Challenge, and will be representing them in Memphis at the end of January 2017.

RoHarpo the Bluesman was raised in a family of gospel and blues musicians and singers. He began at a young age to learn how the down home blues sound gets you deep in your soul and brings people together to feel good.With his roots firmly set in old southern blues music, Roharpo has his own unique style of soulful singing, high energy harmonica playing, and inspiring showmanship. Roharpo was featured in the September 2016 issue of Smithsonian. He won the Northern California Entertainers Music Awards Best Male Blues Artist of the Year, May 29, 2016, He won the 2015 West Coast Blues Challenge, and was a semi-finalist at the International Blues Challenge 2016 in Memphis.
